How to enable or disable crossplay in PalWorld

By default, crossplay is enabled for Xbox, Steam, PS5, and Mac on Nice Hosting's PalWorld servers. To change the allowed platforms, follow the steps below.

1. Shut down the server​

Shut down the server before editing the configuration file. This way, the changes will be applied correctly.

  1. Access your hosting control panel.
  2. Locate the option to stop the server and click on it.

2. Access the configuration file​

In the file manager, open the following path:

Files > PalServer > Pal > Saved > Config > LinuxServer > PalWorldSettings.ini

3. Edit allowed platforms​

Open the PalWorldSettings.ini file and find the line that begins CrossplayPlatforms=.

To enable Steam and Xbox:

CrossplayPlatforms=(Steam,Xbox)

To allow all platforms again:

CrossplayPlatforms=(Steam,Xbox,PS5,Mac)

4. Save and restart​

  1. Save changes to the file.
  2. Return to the dashboard and turn the server back on.

Done! The server will use the crossplay platforms you defined.
